WHIRL - Part 1
I am writing the worst indie movie while I am staying with my father-in-law in the hospital. This will be out of order. You can decide if this is on purpose or not.
It is based on the idea that I slept in a bed designed for a four year old last night.
Echo and Gustav are lying side by side in a twin bed. A green mosquito net envelops the bed. The net is covered with butterflies and sunshine. The room is dark except for one nightlight in the shape of a dollhouse.
Echo: ” It’s dark in here”
Gustav: “No it’s not,see, there’s the sun”
Points to the sun on the mosquito net.
Echo: “It’s not real”
Gustav: “Close your eyes”
Echo closes her eyes. Gustav leans in closer.
Gustav: “Can you see the sun and the clouds? It’s a beautiful day.”
She smiles. He kisses her. They fall asleep.
