I’m gonna catch shit for this.

Compare Born Into Brothels to the HBO documentary Blindsided and you will see the stark difference between severe social problems in the world and the problems the white elite. In Blindsided, you’ll spend an hour listening to a family dealing with a son who looses his sight from a genetic disorder. I feel bad for this kid, it certainly seems like a difficult thing to go through. However, when a nanny and a private school principal talk to the camera about how sad the family was during the ordeal, I wonder how I am supposed to be sympathetic to a kid who has the money and support system to deal with his problem.

Way to be medoicre HBO.
